We know that for many of us a holiday just isn’t a holiday without our much loved dog which is why Tree Top Escape welcomes one well behaved dog to stay in the luxury Tree Top Escape accommodation. We also welcome dogs to wedding ceremonies in the Nest (please inquire for more information).
If you are looking for a truly pet-friendly holiday in Devon, Millbrook is the place for you! We treat our doggy guests as part of the family, with as much respect and customer service as our human guests.
Our 32 acre estate is perfect for walking your dog. We have paths mown around the estate. Also a walk through the woods that is full of wonderful smells for your dog to explore and the meadows and the top lake area are great for your dog to run free.
We do have alpacas which have freedom to roam around the middle lake, but there are always acres of grounds for you and your dog to explore.
To make your dogs stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible we provide the following to use during your stay at Tree Top Escape:-
Dog bowls and food mats
Tennis ball and launcher
Doggy Pooh Bags
Vet Fleece dog bedding
Special Microfibre dog towel
Outside tap and brush for the really muddy characters
A Guide to dog friendly walks, including along the coastal paths
A separate bin for the doggy poop bags.
Wellies and large umbrellas, essential for dog walking (there is also a washing machine and dryer in the laundry room)
On Request we can provide:-
A dog crate for in the accommodation
OS maps of North Devon (available in the office)
Emergency dog food supplies and/or a separate fridge for storage
Doggy Day Out Pack (available on request):

Please note we have a cleaning charge of £50 per stay for your doggy
We don’t have rules we just ask you to respect the estate and people staying here. We do ask all guests to follow the countryside code, close all gates and keep dogs on a lead when near live stock.
If you would like to spend a day without your dog whilst you are away Whitebridge Kennels in High Bickington on 01769 561094 offers Doggy Day Care for about £12 per day per dog. Please ensure you bring your dogs vaccination records with you if you wish to use this service.

With lots of places to explore here are a few lovely places to take your doggies.
Most dogs love the beach and nearly all beaches in North Devon allow dogs in the Winter. During the Summer months you are restricted to certain areas on most beaches but Saunton Sands, Instow and Northam Burrows welcome dogs all year around.

We are lucky to have High Hacknell Organic farm in a neighbouring village where you can order Organic dog food and bones. All of their products can be fed to pets particularly bones, diced offal and trim. They can supply frozen pet food packs of 1kg each and bones. They make a delicious and nutritious addition to your pet’s diet, designed as a complimentary feed for those who like to make their own recipes. Contact Higher Hacknell via their website
